A lie is anything that is aimed at shielding off people from a particular course of action.
A lie is a deliberate and calculated attempt to change a course or direction of event. Lies no matter the degree has a persuasive intent over the subject. It has a focus of deceiving people and acts as a blindfold over them. Consider situations in which you have once told a lie.
Every lie has a damaging effect on the subject. A lie should not be taken seriously if it has no capacity to cause any damage but one quality about every lie is that its capacity to cause harm is often latent and silent-not usually seen from the surface. No lie is innocuous i.e. harmless. It is thus necessary to know the truth which is the sure way out of a lie. There can be no lie if there is never a truth. Every lie has a truth and every truth can be perverted into pluralized lies. It does not matter how many forms and directions lies about a matter can take, the truth however is always the truth.
A renowned truth teller (The Holy Spirit) has ceaselessly revealed the most prominent liar (Satan) who continuously tells lies with the sole intent of blackmailing God and deceiving men out of God’s heritage of eternal life and other great privileges over them. Among the numerous lies that the devil continuously tells man, one of the biggest lie he has ever told is that you can live your life without God and yet escape death-damn it- big lie! The devil promises life and freedom through your disobedience and blatant rejection of God. The devil perverts your mind and makes you see good in what God calls evil, he makes you indulge in and finds pleasure in that which is forbidden. He makes you believe that there are much gains in following his designed shortcuts. He tells you that you can make much profit by indulging in frauds and engaging in unlawful businesses, etc he tells you that you will not surely die if you smoke, drinks, engage in prostitution etc. the devil keep telling people that it’s fun to be able to live the life you desire even if it’s going to land you in damnation. The devil makes you see the immediate (the present alone) and ignore the ultimate. The devil makes you feel that you do not have to endure hardship and follow the right steps instead he makes you feel you can always get away with sharp means and become what you desire as quickly as possible. The devil makes you see God as a tyrant and paints himself as the one who wishes you well. It is not surprising because, he had always done that from the beginning. Little wonder, we see people today who are wont on following their self-motivated instinct-speeding expressly on the road towards doom. What a bizarre world! World of fallacy and deceit! World of total blindness and absolute delusion. He makes people do things which are not convenient, he makes them do these things passionately as though they are just exactly what life is about. He makes them to believe so much in lies in so much degree as not to even give thought to the contrary-the truth. G.J.O Moshay Stated clearly that “Truth is particularly nauseating especially if heavy doses of lie have been taken for too long a time”. 2 Cor 4:4 clearly asserts that the god of this age has blinded the minds of those that believe not….. This is the specialization of the devil, he makes men’s heart blind to the truth, and he makes men hold weird or strange beliefs. One could imagine how humans could ever uphold the satanic doctrine of homosexualism, lesbianism, gayism, transgenderlism and many more absurd evils. All these are product of the devil’s lies. The results of these lies is a world where people sin without penitence, sinning with no soberness. A world where people takes pleasure in unrighteousness, every man going their separate ways. A world where God is been derided-not caring about him but earnestly researching on how best to perpetuate evil, a world that fashions out new ways of unrighteousness, hearts continuously being grafted with sin. A world where people live without God in this present age, one at the verge of doom. A world in the similitude of that in the days of Noah-in the likes of that in the days preceding the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
A world where God is daily being slammed by men-alienated from God and the commonwealth of Israel.
A world under satanic control, unrighteousness now being the necessary air everyone breathes. John 8:43-45, the devil has been a liar from the beginning, don’t allow him deceive you.
